October is one of my favorite months of the year. It’s beautiful outside, football’s on every Saturday, and every week seems to be filled with the good kind of busy — including the 30 Day Challenge at Thunderbolt Power Yoga.
We have so many exciting events happening in the next 30 days, I thought I’d highlight a few of my favorites so you can mark your calendars (although they’re already packed, I’m sure)!
The 30 Day Yoga Challenge is keeping the studio a buzz now through October 30th. If you frequent the #YogaStorm you may seem dedicated yogis doubling up on classes — adults will do anything for a sticker! October 31 — Spookasana Class
- Get in the Halloween spirit with Thunderbolt instructor, Maggie Birgel and DJ Johnny D. This 75 minute class kick off at 6 p.m. and we still have space for you to get spooky (and sweaty) with us! Over the past three years, we've seen prima ballerinas, NFL players, a cat lady and more! Show up in your best costume and you could be our winner!
November 10 — Druminyasa Class
- Feel the changing rhythms of the season as you connect breath, heartbeat, mind, and body in this 90-minute Vinyasa flow. Join me and Druminyasa percussionist Brad Ellsworth for this rhythmic and dynamic class. Brad and I met one another through the owner of In Balance Yoga in Blacksburg, VA — turns out we share HOKIE pride and the VT alma mater. Take a journey through music and movement to reflect upon all that has transpired in the lightness of summer and the harvest of fall. We are looking forward to spending Veterans Day evening with you.
