I love to disconnect from my devices; in fact, when I am spending time with friends and family - being unplugged is a must. Despite my focus on building relationships offline, during my everyday I routine I see the benefits of building connections online, and I enjoy creating connections within the creativity, inspiration, and community availble on social media. Today I share with you a few Instagram accounts that inspire and motivate me to be a better yogi, cook, creative thinker, fashionista, and entrepreneur.
Right now, I’m loving,
@MarieBellePR - Marie Belle was my first yoga teacher ever and I credit her with instilling her passion for yoga in me. Although we are miles apart, she continues to inspire me through both her words and her practice (it’s absolutely insane!) Marie's Instagram account is filled with juicy yoga and travel inspiration-- and she is continuously pushing the edges of possibility through dedication to her own yoga practice. Miss you Marie, and I hope your travels bring you to Atlanta sooner than later.
@ShopPlanetBlue - Not only am I a huge fan of their store, but their Instagram account promotes the PB lifestyle and #1 rule they live by: Good. Vibes. Only. We all need a good dose of positivity; plus, Planet Blue sells beachy clothes that make me feel like a just stepped off the Santa Monica Pier, what’s not to love?
@EarthYandy - Where do I start? If her adorable kids living it up in Hawaii aren’t enough of a reason to follow her, she is a genius when it comes to delicious, easy, and beautiful looking vegan-friendly snacks and meals. This account is plant based perfection.
@Riva_G_ - Considering she’s a Creative Director and contributor to Yoga Magazine - it’s no wonder this account is so intriguing. Like myself, Riva is inspired by the little things in life that make it so beautiful. I am a detailed oriented feelings junkie, and when I find space to connect with someone on the little things, the connection always feels pure.
@DharmaYogaWheel - As a person that practices yoga daily (and sometimes multiple times a day), the Dharma Yoga Wheel has been a game changer for my tight and sore muscles. This account, not only gives the consumer info about their product, but it also motivates me to improve my practice.... Warning: playing on the dharma wheel often illicits a blooper reel.
